1. As a new feed additive. Feeding calcium formate for weight gain and using calcium formate as feed additive can promote appetite and reduce diarrhea rate of piglets. Supplementation of 1% to 1.5% calcium formate in the diet can significantly improve the performance of weaned piglets. A German study found that adding 1.3% calcium formate to weaned piglets' diet can improve the feed conversion rate by 7% to 8%, and adding 0.9% can reduce the incidence of diarrhea in piglets. Zheng Jianhua (1994) Added 1.5% calcium formate to the diet of piglets weaned at 28 days of age, and fed for 25 days, the daily gain of piglets increased by 7.3%, feed conversion rate increased by 2.53%, protein and energy utilization rate increased by 10.3% and 9.8%, respectively, and diarrhea decreased significantly. Wu Tianxing (2002) added 1% calcium formate to the diet of three-way hybrid weaned piglets, and the daily gain increased by 3%, the feed conversion rate increased by 9%, and the diarrhea rate of piglets decreased by 45.7%. Other things to note: Calcium formate is effective before and after weaning because the piglets' own hydrochloric acid production increases with age; Calcium formate contains 30% easy to absorb calcium, in the preparation of feed should pay attention to adjust the proportion of calcium and phosphorus.

2. Use it in architecture. Used for cement fast coagulant, lubricant, early strength agent. Used in building mortar and a variety of concrete, to speed up the hardening of cement, shorten the setting time, especially in winter construction, to avoid low temperature setting speed is too slow. Fast demoulding, so that cement as soon as possible to improve the strength of the use. Calcium formate uses: all kinds of dry mixed mortar, all kinds of concrete, wear-resistant materials, floor industry, feed industry, tanning.
